Radio Western in London Ontario got in touch and played "That Feeling" on their Morning show Coasting. Well how cool is that? Here's the broadcast clip. That Feeling on Radio Western.

A quote from their message...
..."Typically I filter through a few hundred each week so I've gotten pretty good at selecting a particular sound and style that works for my show. Your music, especially That Feeling has a catchy 80's meets modern era quality along with interesting lyrics - something I grew up with in the 80s and has stuck with me. Thanks for your creativity and ability to take us away for a few minutes into that musical space that makes us feel alive."
Jonathan Whitford

Thanks for that comment. You listen to a lot of music and your comments are highly respected.
My kids got a real kick out it too. I'd have to say though, the best part of this was their excitement when they thought we were going to be millionaires right after the song played on "the radio."

The premiere album by Dark Pale titled "First Light" has been released on Friday March 6, 2026. This date is special for a couple reasons. It's the day the music leaves home and is also my youngest son's 11th birthday which is about the same amount of time this project has been in the works. Looking forward to moving on and engaging with those who connect with the music.

Hello! The official premiere album release is on it's way. The tracks are in the final production stage and will be ready for listeners worldwide to stream and purchase. This is a time mixed with both excitement and relief after years of pulling it all together. A few tracks that were originally slated to be on the album were replaced with others and may be released in the future. The Dark Pale album First Light will be available as HQ Lossless digital downloads of individual songs or the entire album. For the audio enthusiast, you can get it on vinyl too. And there you have it.

Finally, the twelve tracks on the album have had final mix treatment. Next is mastering followed by the official release date. What a journey. I wish there was more time to dedicate to this. There are no regrets since everything has come along so well. Fact is, for an album that's taken years to complete, the actual time it's been worked on can been measured in weeks on a clock. Crazy to think about. So that's the update today. It's all just around the corner.

Unfortunately another release delay came into play as the Saxophone player (Scott Richardson) had some things to take care of before being able to come in for studio sessions to perform on three of the tracks on the album. But I can confirm that it was well worth the wait. The Saxophone is something I've always loved and knew belonged in the music but was beyond pleased with the results. He really has performed amazingly and I'm sure you will agree. If I knew ahead of time how well it was going to go down I would have probably delayed things much longer if it was necessary.
